Football:
With FSU’s starting QB and starting LT both out with injuries the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time for FSU.
Cory Durden is as miffed as the rest of us about that terrible targeting call against Janarius Robinson but he gave a very diplomatic answer when asked about it.
From Ashburn county in Georgia to Leon county in Florida; Ontaria Wilson & Tamorrion Terry have been doing this to opponents since high school.
It wasn’t a perfect win against NCSU but the game was never really in doubt after FSU scored twice in the closing minutes of the second quarter; need more of those in Tallahassee.
It’s the first game of the season where the defensive side of the ball performed noticeably better than the offensive side of the ball.
FSU will not be facing the number one ranked team in the country in two weeks; Clemson dropped following its near-loss to North Carolina.
Florida State is one step closer to bowl eligibility and a date with an SEC opponent could be on the table.
Recruiting:
FSU’s top offensive-tackle target Isaiah Walker, Jr. has locked in his official visit for FSU for the first weekend of November. (VIP)
Top wide receiver target four-star recruit Bryan Robinson was on campus again. (VIP)
What should FSU do to make sure it maintains Malachi Wideman’s commitment and so that he plays football at Florida State?

Other Sports:
That’s seven straight wins for FSU soccer but they’ll have to play better against teams not ranked 264th in the RPI.

Alumni:
If it wasn’t for a missed field goal vs. the Giants everyone would be talking about Jameis Winston has thrown for nearly 800 yards and 7 TDs over the last two weeks.
Reminder, QB wins is a bad stat and if you use it non-sarcastically well...shame on you.
Brian Burns and the rest of the Carolina Panthers’ front seven terrorized Deshaun Watson.
