The Florida State Seminoles football depth chart was released Monday, and atop it was a new quarterback, Jordan Travis, though it wasn’t much of a surprise given the redshirt sophomore’s performance during Saturday’s win against Jacksonville State.
Mike Norvell spoke on Travis’ talents after the game:
“[Jordan is] a young man who’s versatile in all aspects. But what I love about him, he doesn’t just always rely on his legs. I think my favorite play of the night was when he scrambled and was able to hit Ontaria Wilson on the comeback on the far side. That was probably my favorite play because the defense, he was able to work up trying to get to him and kept his eyes downfield. Threw a great strike. It was really a big play for our offense, just to see him on third down. For Jordan, he’s got to continue to work. We don’t really have to change anything.”
