Florida State Day was celebrated at the Florida State Capitol (no relation) on Wednesday, with football head coach Mike Norvell joining president John Thrasher and other school administrators to celebrate an athletic program that currently has all spring sports ranked in the top 10 and academic success that has the school ranked No. 18 in the country.
Meanwhile, legislation that’s aiming to merge New College of Florida in Sarasota with FSU just advanced through the Florida House.
