Podcast: Virginia Tech post game, UNC preview

Road wins are important currency on NCAA Tournament resumes, and Florida State picked up a nice one at Virginia Tech on Saturday. On the podcast (APPLE // SPOTIFY) we break down what went well - aside from the obvious ‘Devin Vassell goes bananas’ - and what caused a bit of alarm. We also dive in to the radio broadcast which is pushing the narrative that FSU is struggling down the stretch in games, and why that might be.

Since it is Super Bowl Sunday we at least mention the game, especially since Michael lives in ‘Niner country north of the Bay Area. We also found out that the overlords at SB Nation randomly pushed a Cowboys podcast onto our channel, so apologies for any confusion that may have caused for our subscribers expecting to hear something hoops related.

We wrap it up by talking North Carolina. Cole Anthony - the No. 4 overall recruit in last year’s class - is back just in time for the Florida State game. Will it be enough to the Tar Heels to rally and save their season? That rally didn’t get off to a good start, as UNC lost yesterday to Boston College.
