A coaching transition just before the 2020 class’ early signing period has placed FSU at a disadvantage. Other staffs are building on already established relationships, while the Seminoles are starting fresh. As a result, Florida State’s coaching staff has been relentless on the recruiting trail. Every day new offers are being extended, coaches and recruits are following each other on twitter, and even the social media team has been stepping up their game.

On Monday, Sage Ryan took to twitter to announce he had received an offer from FSU.

Ryan is currently ranked as the nation’s top athlete and is listed at 5’11, 190 pounds. He plays his high school ball at Lafayette Christian in Louisiana. He projects to play in the defensive backfield, most likely at corner. His highlights showcase his skills on offense, defense, and special teams. He’s a threat every time he touches the ball and and will level any player attempting a catch in his vicinity.

Ryan has offers from several top schools including Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, and of course the hometown favorite, LSU. The Seminoles have had recent success in Louisiana with 2020 signees Corey Wren and Ja’Khi Douglas but will be in an uphill battle to secure Ryan’s signature.
