Podcast: Clemson preview

The ‘Noles hit the road

NCAA Basketball: Clemson at Florida State Glenn Beil-USA TODAY Sports

Florida State has three games left in the season. Those three games are going to play a huge role in ACC and NCAA tournament seeding. First up is Clemson, and in this episode (APPLE // SPOTIFY) we catch people up on a Tigers team that we last saw in early December. Since then they’ve pulled off upsets of Duke and Louisville, and have only lost once at home in the new year. Despite their big wins, they’re in the middle of the pack in the ACC and have virtually no chance of dancing.

In the first matchup, FSU hit 47% of their 3s, and it’s unlikely for that kind of lighting to strike twice against the same team.

We go in depth on some Clemson players - Aamir Sims in particular - and discuss the importance of guys like Rayquan Evans and Devin Vassell in the attack against Clemson.

It’s a relatively short pod, and we’ll be back next week as the ACCT and NCAAT pictures begin to clarify.
