Florida State football playeres took the field today for spring practice, bringing along with them full pads for the first time this semester.
Players participated in high-tempo, intense drills, with coaches taking the time to teach in between each. Offensive line coach Alex Atkins was seen coaching up his unit, while players got the chance to take part in a multi-layered take on the Oklahoma drill.
Tempo, as you’ve heard, has been the name of the game since practice has kicked off, with players moving swiftly from drill to drill without removing helmets. Coaches are involved, running reps with players and actively educating. By all means, it’s a step up from previous years, and players seem to be responding to the challenge in a positive way.
Below, you’ll be able to find pictures and a full highlight video from today’s practice, with a full report on the day still to come.
