VIDEO: Florida State basketball wins regular season ACC Championship, cuts down nets

Hamilton took it to the next level - an outright, regular season championship for the ACC. To win a regular season title demonstrates an ability to consistently win against the basketball elites.

Florida State has had basketball success, most notably in a national championship game appearance in 1972. Hamilton has led FSU to even more success, with Sweet Sixteen appearances in 2011 and 2019, along with an Elite Eight appearance in 2018.

Hamilton has one of his best squads ever for the 2019-2020 season, with such FSU luminaries as Trent Forrest and Devin Vassell helping take Florida State to the next level.

With the success of the Seminoles in the ACC, Leonard Hamilton is poised to win awards for his coaching performance in 2020.
