A day after the men’s time won its first-ever regular season ACC title, the women have a chance to bring home its first conference tournament title.
The No. 22 Florida State Seminoles pulled off a major upset vs. Louisville yesterday to earn a spot in the championship game, pairing up with No. 10 NC State.
From our recap yesterday:
The Seminoles have seemingly shaken off whatever bad vibes they had going on that contributed to them struggling to a finish of the season where they lost 3 of their last 5 games. They are executing on offense at a level similar to where they were when they were winning 13 straight games to begin the season. If the Noles can keep this up they can contend with anyone in the nation.
There’s been no update on junior Kiah Gillespie, who left yesterdays game with an injury, though she is listed as a starter in the game notes provided by the school.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 today at noon, with some sites having Florida State listed a 2.5 point underdog.
