Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton wasn’t the only Seminole honored Monday morning, as Trent Forrest was named to the All-ACC Defensive Team, and freshman Patrick Williams was named as the ACC’s Sixth Man of the Year.

He came off the bench to average 9.2 points and 4 rebounds per game in 29 games.
Williams is the second straight Florida State player to be named to the award, following in the footsteps of Mfiondu Kabengele.
Forrest finished second in voting for the league’s top defender, while he and Devin Vassell were both named to the All-ACC Second Team.
“If you look in the Webster Dictionary and you see student-athlete, his picture is right next to it, with a Seminole on his shirt,” Hamilton said about Forrest following Saturday’s ACC regular season title-clinching win over Boston College. “He’s a good student. He’s a good leader, very well respected. He probably could run for mayor, as a write-in candidate in Chipley and win by a landslide.”
