Florida State football, recruiting news: 2020 NFL Draft kicks off tonight

Recruiting:

Florida State churned out plenty of offers yesterday, including to a future blue-chip offensive linemen, a California defensive end, the No. 50 player in the class of 2022, an offensive tackle out of Tarpon Springs and another out of Atlanta and a Texas linebacker. Basketball:

Patrick Williams is amongst one of the prospects that Sports Illustrated is calling “intriguing” in this year’s draft, saying he nails all the boxes you want in a player.

Williams put together a strong month of February, finding ways to produce within an offense that never ran through him, and while he would likely have benefitted from the platform the ACC and NCAA tournaments would have offered, he’s also the type of prospect who stands to profit as teams dig into his film and compare notes. He came in 17th on our March Big Board, and it’s not all that hard to see him moving into the late lottery picture as things shake out.
