The NFL Draft starts tonight. He might hear his name called early, but Florida State running back Cam Akers should know his new team by the end of the weekend. Jon Marchant breaks down his NFL potential here.

The NCAA has approved some rule changes — specifically one that had an ending on the 2019 Iron Bowl. Check the full list, with explainers, here.
Basketball:
Patrick Williams is amongst one of the prospects that Sports Illustrated is calling “intriguing” in this year’s draft, saying he nails all the boxes you want in a player.
Williams put together a strong month of February, finding ways to produce within an offense that never ran through him, and while he would likely have benefitted from the platform the ACC and NCAA tournaments would have offered, he’s also the type of prospect who stands to profit as teams dig into his film and compare notes. He came in 17th on our March Big Board, and it’s not all that hard to see him moving into the late lottery picture as things shake out.
