Florida State football, recruiting news: Warren Thompson issues public apology regarding Covid-19

This team is on the same page.

Football:

When asked if he had spoken to Warren Thompson after his public comments earlier in the week all Mike Norvell had to say was “This team is on the same page.” Turns out that was all that needed to be said as Warren Thompson has issued a public apology following his public accusations earlier last week.

Jashaun Corbin looks like an impressive runner in the videos and photos from the first scrimmage.

Mike Norvell was pleased with the first scrimmage; particular the communication. Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller however while pleased is definitely looking for more.

FSU will be officially looking for a new non-conference opponent this fall.

ACC opponents are very concerned about Liberty’s testing protocols; Liberty appears on multiple ACC schedules this fall.

Recruiting:

It was a big weekend on the recruiting trail for FSU as high three-star likely four-star Malik McClain has committed to Florida State.

Remember Rodney Smith? FSU just got another big receiver than can really run.

2023 future blue-chip linebacker Malik Bryant teased a commitment but it turned out it wasn’t a school that he was committing to.
