Football:

In his opening press conference Mike Norvell said that his number one goal for this season is to maximize every player’s potential.

“If you want to be the guy, you have to carry yourself like the guy.” Offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham talks expectations and incoming freshmen quarterbacks.

Adam Fuller is excited about the talent on the 2020 defense; he mentioned three players in the front seven and neither of them were Marvin Wilson or Cory Durden.

Miami defensive end Gregory Rousseau is opting out of the 2020 season; he had 15.5 sacks last fall.

Clemson defensive end Xavier Thomas hasn’t quite lived up to the hype but a battle with the coronavirus followed by strep throat really did a number on him:

Recruiting:

FSU is making four-star LA RB a top priority. (VIP)

2022 future five-star Bishop Gorman defensive end Cyrus Moss has been offered by Florida State:

2023 athlete Cole Martin has been offered by FSU; the staff continues to work their Arizona tie-ins.

Five-star combo guard Jalen Warley is set to announce his commitment live on CBSSports HQ this Sunday; FSU is the favorite.

The Vikings and Dalvin Cook haven’t given up on a contract extension before the season starts.
