UPDATE:

Original Story, August 7:

Florida State Seminoles football has released its ticketing system for the 2020 season, opting to allow season ticket holders and boosters to purchase three-game packs of tickets.

The packs are as follows:

Pack One: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Sep. 12), North Carolina Tar Heels (Oct. 17), and Virginia Cavaliers (Nov. 28)

Pack Two: Samford (Sep. 19), Pittsburgh Panthers (Nov. 7), Clemson Tigers (Nov. 21)

Donors at the highest level (platinum and legacy) will be able to purchase both packs, while only those in the second level with over 672 priority points will get the opportunity.

All other levels will only be eligible to purchase one pack.

After weeks of discussion and planning, FSU athletics and Seminole Boosters have finalized our plan for ticketing in the main bowl at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Attendance for FSU’s 2020 home games will be limited in the stadium bowl and the Dunlap Champions Club. FSU will adhere to social distancing guidelines, which will limit capacity to somewhere between 20-25%.

The plan will allow us to provide each annual fund donor who purchased season tickets the opportunity to watch the Seminoles play at home at least three times this season. Eligible donors will be able to purchase up to the same number of three-game packs as they have ordered season tickets for the 2020 season with a limit of eight per account. If you bought an odd number of season tickets, you have been rounded up to the next even number for the quantity of seats you are eligible to purchase.

According to the FSU priority system and based on available inventory, the seat selection will be conducted in the following order:

Tier 1 Donors (Platinum & Legacy Chiefs);Donors with a top 150 rank: Eligible to purchase both three-game packs

Tier 2 Donors (Golden & Silver Chiefs) with 673 priority points or more; Donors with season tickets for 60+ years: Eligible to purchase both three-game packs

Tier 2 Donors (Golden & Silver Chiefs) with 672 priority points or less; Donors with season tickets for 40-60 years· Eligible to purchase one (1) three-game pack

Tier 3 Donors (Tomahawk & Warriors): Eligible to purchase one (1) three-game pack

Tier 4 Donors (all others): Eligible to purchase one (1) three-game pack

PACK 1: Georgia Tech – September 12, North Carolina – October 17, Virginia – November 28

PACK 2: Samford – September 19, Pittsburgh – November 7, Clemson – November 21

Each three-game pack will be $225 and include a chair back on each seat ordered. This will help us to administer social distancing standards and improve the game experience for all attendees. The online seat selection will begin on Monday, August 17th, in the order detailed above. The site can be accessed via a link at Seminoles.com or seminoleboosters.com.

Seats will be offered in blocks of two, four, six and eight.

In the coming days, you will receive an e-mail with your specific date and time for selection. All tickets and parking passes will be distributed digitally this year. Tickets and parking passes are anticipated to be sent the week of the home opener vs. Georgia Tech on September 12th. Those with a credit remaining on your ticket account at the conclusion of the seat selections will have the opportunity to convert this to an out-right donation in support of FSU athletics, receive a credit for their 2021 ticket purchase or request a refund. If you do not feel comfortable attending football games at Doak Campbell Stadium, please contact your Account Representative with Seminole Boosters to discuss options for your donation and ticket payment including how you can support FSU athletics during this extraordinary time.

Due to the ongoing effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic, our 20-sport program is being presented with financial challenges unlike we have seen in recent memory. If we are asked to refund a significant amount of donations and ticket purchases, there is the potential based on the outcome of our fall seasons that we will face the possibility of falling significantly short of meeting our funding requirements. Through these challenging days ahead, we will continue our work of providing the necessary resources to support the academic, athletic, and personal development of Florida State student-athletes and the competitive success of Seminole athletics.

We thank you for your patience and continued loyal support as this plan has been developed. In appreciation, all 2020 annual fund donors will be given five additional priority points for every $100 donated to the annual fund. These are challenging times for FSU athletics and many of our donors, and we look forward to being able to play football this fall. As always, our unconquered spirit will prevail!

Go Noles!
