The standards for Florida State Seminoles Basketball have been raised substantially over the last few years.
Historically, the Seminoles would have taken any year that ended with a bid to the NCAA tournament as a successful season - but this is no longer the case. The team continues to improve and there seems to be no sign of stopping. In the past year, the team has not only won the ACC but they brought in one of the best recruits in the country to be the primary ballhandler.
All of this is signified by the team’s new slogan: “the New Bloods.” FSU wants to be among the elite in college basketball but early-season results haven’t lived up to these great expectations. Two early losses to teams FSU expects to beat have nearly knocked them out of the top 25.
So what is going on in Tallahassee? Are these problems fixable or will they plague the Seminoles throughout the season? Join me as I take a look at the stats and the film to try to answer these questions and more.
My channel just scratches the surface of all the great basketball coverage on this site. Make sure to check out Matt Minnick and Michael Rogner’s wonderful podcast if you want more information about FSU basketball.
