Florida State lands at No.2 in the ACC preseason poll behind the Duke Blue Devils.

The news comes just a day after learning that FSU is ranked as the No.20 team in the country. The race for the ACC title starts on November 10th when the Seminoles face the University of Pennsylvania at the Tucker Center.
FSU held a 12-1 record at home and an 11-4 conference record in the 2020-21 season. They lost two of their last three games last season to the North Carolina Tar Heels and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The Seminoles lost some key pieces to the transfer portal and NBA draft but they reloaded in the offseason acquiring Kentucky transfer Cam’Ron Fletcher and Houston transfer Caleb Mills that will likely see minutes in the starting lineup. Redshirt-senior Anthony Polite returns as the teams leading scorer while Malik Osborne returns as the Seminoles leading rebounder. Their veteran presence should be the x-factor this season while they prepare a brand new team to compete in the ACC.
