Football:

McKenzie Milton is raring to get back on the football field but in the meantime he’s setting an example for the those behind him about DFs, NFTs, NILs, all sorts of abbreviations.

When you do good things good opportunities tend to come your way:

Clemson vs. Georgia, Notre Dame at Florida State, Miami vs. Alabama; September can’t get here fast enough.

Recruiting:

Three-star tight end Jerrale Powers is a Seminole.

Everyone that seems to watch Travis Hunter, Jr. comes away amazed:

AJ Duffy finished ninth overall in 247Sports’ Elite 11 Rankings; he was particularly good when it came time to stop throwing against air.

Duffy’s first two days were a bit up and down and the target challenge was just ok, but he came alive in 7on7 play- you can tell he’s taken a ton of snaps in 7on7, looking the most comfortable, quickly getting rid of the ball. The Florida State verbal ended his week as strong as anyone.

2024 is a long way off but FSU already has its third commitment of the class in safety Jordan Pride:

That’s the same number of commitments Miami has in its 2022 class.

Other Sports:

Successful spring sports led to a 16th overall finish in the Directors’ Cup.

Alumni:

It’s the second consecutive top-five finish for former Seminole star Hank Lebioda:

After an impressive rookie camp Marvin Wilson returns to Tallahassee for a different kind of camp:

The next stage of Patrick Williams’ development as an NBA player is here.
