Jordan Travis starting vs. Notre Dame

Jordan Travis will serve as Florida State’s starting quarterback in the Seminoles season opener vs. Notre Dame.

The announcement came before kickoff, with transfer quarterback McKenzie Milton serving as the second-string gunslinger.

Has played 12 games at FSU through 2020 season and is 78-for-142 passing for 1,135 yards and six touchdowns while also compiling 787 yards and 10 touchdowns on 120 carries…six straight games played with rushing touchdown is longest stretch by quarterback in program history…only quarterback in FSU history to have four straight games with at least one rushing and one passing touchdown…ranks fifth in program history in rushing yards by quarterback…owns two longest runs by quarterback in program history.
