Florida State Football Practice Report: 12/19

The Noles continued Auburn prep Thursday and focused on details.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Florida State Seminoles took to the practice fields Thursday as they continued prep for the National Championship, and with the Holidays coming up fast, they look to finish the week strong before sending the players home to their families.

The players were again in full pads on Thursday.

Devonta Freeman was not dressed out.

Mario Pender was dressed out.

The defense continued to work on discipline against the option that Auburn will run.

John Franklin did a lot of warming up during the beginning of practice, as I expect him to be the "Marshall" for the scout team. And I also expect Ryan Green to play the role of Tre Mason.

The offense continued on as it has all year. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Roberto Aguayo was perfect in practice.

The Jimbo Fisher press conference will follow practice around 3:15.
