People have asked for an update on the Matthew Thomas situation, and there really isn't anything substantial to report. I still expect Thomas to report to Florida State. However, Thomas did post a picture of himself on instagram (see above) wearing a USC hat in Los Angeles as part of "throwback Thursday," a popular tradition of posting old photos each Thursday. Thomas is still locked in to FSU, and Florida State to him, and as far as I know, there are no plans to release him. The player trades his leverage for the security provided by the LOI in this situation. Want in one hand and, well, you know the rest.
