The Florida State Seminoles continued preparation for their home opener against Citadel during a hot Tuesday afternoon.
Matthew Thomas, Kain Daub (boot) and Markus Eligwe were not dressed out for Tuesday's practice, and P.J. Williams was not in attendance. Ryan Green still seemed limited, although he was fully dressed.
The Detroit Lions had a scout present during Tuesday's practice, and he seemed to be particularly interested in the FSU offensive line.
Chris Casher was again fully dressed out, but he didn't participate in any of the walk-throughs. Demarcus Walker took all of those reps opposite Mario Edwards Jr.
Ronald Darby was also dressed out but not participating. With both Darby and Williams not dressed, it continues to be Nick Waisome and Marquez White that take the corner positions. The staff is absolutely confident in the backup duo, and there really isn't a reason for Darby or Williams to start against Citadel.
Also worth noting: while Mario Edwards Jr. and Jalen Ramsey took full reps during the defensive walk-throughs, they both spent some time with the trainers once the team left the indoor facility to participate in position drills.
Jesus Wilson took some reps as the slot receiver for the first team offense on Tuesday, and also saw time returning kicks alongside Mario Pender with the second team return squad.
Jimbo Fisher will speak with the media following practice.
