Florida State junior offensive lineman Wilson Bell was arrested Sunday by FSU police for failure to appear in court. According to the Leon County booking report, he was released the same day.
Bell’s failure to appear charge stems from an earlier charge of hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle or property without leaving ID.
Bell is a starter for Florida State, and since neither charge is a felony, he is not by rule automatically suspended. Any punishment will be at the program’s discretion.
