If you’re thinking that Akers’ film is one of the best you’ve ever seen, we agree. His combination of size and explosiveness is extremely rare, and Akers could immediately be competing for the starting job in Tallahassee. He is rated even higher than Dalvin Cook was at the same stage.

With Akers’ commitment, Florida State’s recruiting class has risen to No. 5 in the nation, behind only Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, and Michigan.
