Major FSU Targets in Orlando for Under Armour All-America Game

Future stars take their talents to Orlando.

The Under Armour All-America game is just around the corner and preparations continued in Orlando today at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. With the recent addition of key players to the Seminoles’ recruiting class, there has been a lot of FSU buzz surrounding the game.

Many of the already committed players had good days, including Stanford Samuels III, Khalan Laborn, Joshua Kaindoh and Cyrus Fagan. You can get to know more about these guys in Chuck Blunt’s early enrollee analysis, and Bud Elliott’s breakdown from earlier in the week, but here’s what we saw today:

Josh Kaindoh continues to dominate.

We watched only a few reps of the five-star defensive end Thursday. It was all we needed to see. Kaindoh is consistently whipping the elite competition at the event, and is making his case as the No. 1 end in the country, and a potential top-ten ranking overall.

Check out the reaction from this NFL legend when Florida State Seminoles Football 5-star defensive end recruit Joshua Kaindoh puts these pass rush moves on. Unfair!

FSU still potentially has a shot at Maleik Gray.

At 6-2 187-pounds, Maleik Gray is listed as a linebacker, but today showed that his coverage ability is far better served at safety. He committed to Tennessee back in June, and it was thought for a while that there was no other option. However, it seems the Seminoles may still have a shot. Take a look below to see what Gray had to say following today’s practice.

Can FSU flip elite safety Maleik Gray from Tennessee?

Can Florida State Seminoles Football flip this elite safety from Tennessee Football? He reveals that his idol is Jalen Ramsey, and that he trains with Ramsey's dad! Watch for more detials.

Samuels and Fagan are not done recruiting.

Stanford Samuels and Cyrus Fagan also had great days on the field, as neither had a pass completed against them in the time we observed.

And although they’ve had really good performances on the field, it sounds like both have been having even better days off the field recruiting more stars to Tallahassee. Both were influential voices in the commitments of Cam Akers and Joshua Kaindoh, and they’re not done yet. While sharing the field with other top Florida State targets, Samuels and Fagan are doing all they can to make sure the Seminoles end up with another top recruiting class. With guys like Levi Jones, Robert Beal, and Marvin Wilson still on the market, take a look below to hear what the star defensive backs had to say about helping recruit Tribe 17.

Marvin Wilson is just that good.

Wilson is a defensive tackle listed at 6-4, 329 according to 247Sports, and with that size (and talent), he’s the type of target the Seminoles look to land on Signing Day. He had some great reps during 1-on-1’s, winning several matchups. With NFL stars Herman Edwards and Mike Golic leading drills, Wilson definitely impressed with his consistent hand movement and agility.

Overall, the momentum is starting to swing in Florida State’s favor, and the UA game is going to showcase a lot of future FSU talent.
