On Tuesday, the ACC announced the conference schedule for the upcoming football season, and by doing so, have officially completed the 2017 Florida State football regular season schedule.
The ‘Noles will open up the season against Alabama, their second straight year starting the season versus an SEC team. FSU will also close with a team from the same conference, traveling to Gainesville for the annual Sunshine Showdown. Since 2013, Florida State is a perfect 6-0 vs. the SEC.
The other two out-of-conference teams that will travel to Tallahassee are Delaware State and UL Monroe. This is the first time the ‘Noles will play Delaware State in program history. Against ULM, FSU is 1-0, winning the only other game in the series back in 2011.
Among Florida State’s major ACC games, it will travel to Clemson while hosting Miami and Louisville as part of the rotating site schedule. The ‘Noles will also travel to Duke in their one rotating game, besides rival Miami, against the ACC Coastal division.
