Florida State offensive lineman Landon Dickerson suffered a right ankle injury that will require surgery. He will undergo surgery on Friday. The injury will sideline him for the rest of the season.

The sophomore offensive lineman was first injured in FSU’s matchup vs. Wake Forest, but returned, and finished the game.
In pregame vs. Miami the next week, Dickerson’s ankle was heavily tapped up. He appeared to re-aggravate the injury mid game against UM, left for a short period of time, but returned to finish the game.
It’s the second major injury the Hickory, NC. native has suffered. He missed the final six games of the 2016 season, his freshman season, due to a torn ACL. The former four-star prospect has shown much promise, and is one of the more reliable bodies on that inconsistent Florida State offensive line.
When he initially left due to that ankle injury vs. Miami, Derrick Kelly moved to right guard and Josh Ball entered the game at left tackle.
Josh Ball will start the game in his stead.
