It’s time for Florida State football to wrap up the North Carolina portion of its schedule. And now we know when that will take place. After suffering a home loss to NC State and then bouncing back at Wake Forest, the Seminoles will return to the Tar Heel state after faltering late against Miami, this time to battle ACC Coastal foe Duke in Durham. And after being six-day optioned, that game will kickoff at noon.
It’s been a while since the ’Noles and Blue Devils clashed on the gridiron. The two haven’t met since Jimbo Fisher’s ragtag group of eventual national champions were able to band together and topple the sage football acumen of then back-to-back defending ACC Coach of the Year David Cutcliffe back in 2013.
Of course, that FSU victory extended a flawless run against Duke over the years. The Seminoles are 17-0 against the Blue Devils, with two other wins having been vacated.
