It’s finally here— Welcome to Miami week. Jimbo Fisher will kick things off with his weekly press conference at 1 PM on Monday. FSU is coming off its first victory of the season at Wake Forest on Tuesday.

The ’Noles had some notable injuries happen during, and even prior to that game. Starting linebacker Ro’Derrick Hoskins did not play due to an undisclosed injury. His status will be more than likely addressed during Monday’s presser. In his place, sophomore Dontavious Jackson had a solid game and did exactly what was asked of him. It was the first game action Jackson played this season after suffering a preseason injury. He was dressed vs. Alabama and NC Stawte, but did not play.

The other injury occurred during the game as offensive lineman Derrick Kelly went down. He would not return to the game. On a day where the offensive line struggled, it didn’t help having Kelly out. Brock Ruble, Kelly’s replacement, could not find his groove and had a disappointing showing.

Florida State opened as one point favorites over Miami, however that line shifted quickly and the ’Noles are currently 3 1/2 point underdogs at home according to Bovada.

Andrew Miller will be providing live updates from the press conference in the comments section below.
