After its 31-28 loss to Louisville, Florida State is 2-4 for the first time since 2009 and only the second time since 1976. Despite that, starting running back Jacques Patrick still sees resiliency in FSU.
When asked about the team being able to bounce back after the loss, Patrick said ,
“I see some resiliency in us and being down 28-14, we came back and had a chance to win the game. That just speaks to the character of the team and the toughness of our guys to be able to keep going, especially with what those guys did to us last year.”
He also spoke with true freshman QB James Blackman after the game,
“He’s a young guy and I told him to keep his head up. Eighteen years old in a situation like this is very tough. He just has to keep going and I’m proud of him because he is a heck of a player.”
