The Orange will visit Florida State against this year, but it’s not that gaudy annoying orange sported by the likes of Miami, Clemson, and Florida. It’s the good-natured, well-meaning Orange of Syracuse, a fun, humble, self-deprecating fanbase— as long as we’re not talking about basketball.
But frankly, even a fanbase as typically adorable as Syracuse’s has a bit of an edge to it when it comes to Tallahassee these days. It’s called hope, and the Seminoles have fostered that hope by dropping all three of their home games thus far in 2017. The ’Noles will have a chance to stymie that hope come Saturday, November 4, when they’ll host ’Cuse on Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
And now we know when. FSU and the Orange will get things going at 12:20 on the ACC Network. Presently, Florida State is looking up at Syracuse with regard to both overall record (2-4 and 4-4, respectively) and ACC success (2-3 for the Seminoles, 2-2 for ’Cuse).
