It’s no secret that Jimbo Fisher needs to make several changes to his coaching staff following a disastrous 2-5 start to the 2017 season.
And now, it seems as if the first domino has fallen.
Per Noles247, quarterback coach and co-offensive coordinator Randy Sanders is not expected to return next season. Sanders is in his fourth year at Florida State, having been hired by Fisher prior to the 2013 season.
As quarterbacks coach, Sanders has worked alongside Jimbo Fisher to develop players such as Jameis Winston and Deondre Francois. The former Tennessee and Kentucky coach has also called offensive plays with Fisher.
With Sanders not expected to return for the 2018 season, one possible replacement for his role might be Dameyune Craig, who is currently on staff as a quality control analyst. An excellent recruiter, Craig was previously employed by Florida State from 2010-12 as a quarterbacks coach and was vital in landing the commitment from future Heisman trophy winner Jameis Winston.
