After the original scheduled game in September was postponed due to Hurricane Irma, Florida State will finally host Miami on Saturday. The Seminoles come in a disappointing 1-2, however are fresh off its lone win of the season at Wake Forest. On the other side, first year starter Malik Rosier has led Miami to an undefeated 3-0 record with home wins over Bethune-Cookman, Toledo, and at Duke.

Odds: Florida State is a three point underdog. The over/under is at 45 points.

The ’Noles also have a large crop of recruits expected to come to Saturday’s game with it being vs. Miami. These type of recruiting visits are coveted by the host school.

On offense, there are not many skill position players that played against Miami last season. Running back Jacques Patrick ran for 11 yards on three carries, and receiver Auden Tate was the only wide out on the 2017 roster with a catch in that game. He had one for 14 yards.

FSU was able to shut out current Miami RB Mark Walton in that 2016 matchup, holding him to 2.8 YPC on 14 rushes. So far this season, Walton is averaging 9.2 YPC on 44 attempts— Good for 403 yards and three touchdowns. Despite those eye-popping stats, the junior has played just one game vs. a Power 5 team, Duke, having 51 yards on 17 attempts.
