Florida State has been tweaking its depth chart each week this season, adjusting starting and backup roles as injuries and performance have dictated. But not this week.
The Seminoles have decided to maintain the depth that saw them drop a 31-14 contest at Clemson, as there are no changes to the depth chart for the first time in quite a while. Noticeable surprises include Jacques Patrick still listed above Cam Akers, even though the latter out-carried the former by a 12-5 margin in Death Valley.
Also of note is the fact that Tarvarus McFadden is still listed as the starting punt returner, even though that job has belonged to D.J. Matthews since the Boston College debacle.
The defensive depth hasn’t been altered in quite some time. Even though Hamsah Nasirildeen has started the last couple of games, he’s not even included on the two-deep roster depth at the safety position.
