FSU injury report vs. Syracuse: Keith Gavin questionable after returning to practice this week

After he returned to practice on Wednesday, speculation flew about the possibility of sophomore wide receiver Keith Gavin returning for this weekend’s matchup with Syracuse.

Two days out from the game, the possibility remains just that.

Gavin, who has missed three games with an ankle injury suffered late in FSU’s loss to Miami, was listed as questionable against the Orange on FSU’s official injury report which Jimbo Fisher released on Thursday.

Fellow wide receiver Auden Tate, who has been dealing with a left foot injury he sustained against Louisville, was also listed as questionable after he was limited in practice this week.

As Fisher said on his call-in show, junior running back Jacques Patrick is still a week away from returning and will be out against Syracuse Saturday.
