Florida State football head coach Jimbo Fisher was very sentimental when talking about being a part of the first Florida State football team to defeat UF in five straight seasons.
“It means a lot. In a year that people have been calling a washed year, we were able to go out and accomplish something that has never been done before. These kids believe in what they do and fight for it and we went out an won five in a row against Florida.”
It wouldn’t be a postgame Fisher press conference if there wasn’t a question asked about his future at Florida State.
The current head coach said that he hopes this isn’t his last FSU-UF game but declined to say much more regarding the subject.
He also spoke highly of true freshman QB James Blackman and that this may have been the best game Blackman has played all season.
