Yes, the Jimbo Fisher Call-In Show is still happening: Live updates

Jimbo Fisher will still hold his weekly call-in show despite the fluid rumors.

The most shocking news of the night was this fan asking a fair, respectful question about loyalty, and then having the microphone ripped from his hand, and being shoved twice and ejected. Watch the video at the linl.

Despite more reports Wednesday that Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher may be headed to Texas A&M, Tomahawk Nation has confirmed that the weekly Jimbo Fisher Call-In Show is scheduled to go off as planned this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. We’ll have your updates here as always.

Is you’d like to ask Fisher a question live on the air, you can call in at (877) 99-Noles, or you can watch the show locally at ABC affiliate WTXL Channel 27 or live online.

Don’t expect Fisher to address anything having to do with the coaching rumors, though — those calls are screened heavily and the show’s producers have a quick trigger finger to disconnect the call if anyone decides to get sneaky. However, there were a few calls that sneaked by last week.

The Seminoles are preparing for a makeup game Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe, which was supposed to visit Tallahassee on Sept. 9th, but that contest was canceled due to the threat of Hurricane Irma. The game remained canceled until Florida State got off to a 3-6 start to the season and its 35-year bowl game streak was in jeopardy. But following the Seminoles’ win against Syracuse, Fisher confirmed the game was back on and would be played after the original regular-season finale against Florida, which the Seminoles won easily, 38-22, last week.

When the show kicks off at 7 p.m., Danny Aller will recap the show in the comments below.
