Despite nearly all reports now agreeing that Jimbo Fisher will accept the Texas A&M head coaching position at some point this weekend, Fisher still plans to coach Florida State this weekend.
He said as much when addressing the media Thursday night ahead of the matchup with the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.
Doubling down, Fisher gave no indication that there was ever any consideration for him to not coach this weekend.
The matchup against ULM is an important one for FSU. A win is a must for the Seminoles to carry on their 35-year postseason streak.
Still, Fisher stressed that the team is staying grounded and had a good week of practice before the crucial game.
Furthermore, Fisher was asked if he has any regrets about how he has handled these last few weeks. His answer was a quick no.
The Seminoles and Warhawks meet this Saturday at 12. Fisher says he will be there. Only time will tell if this is the truth.
Jimbo Fisher says he expects to be on the sideline, coaching Florida State Seminoles Football game on Saturday.
