Florida State defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi has been on Florida State for four years now. He has never experience a season such as this with FSU achieving its third victory in eight games.
After the game, he was smiling when talking about what the mood in the locker room was.
“It was like a big party. It felt like we finally accomplished something and how I see it, its a great turning point.”
Unlike many of the other players, Nnadi downplayed the Florida State bowl streak slightly, but still said it has meaning.
“In my opinion, I am focused on it, but at the same time, I’m not focused on it. That’s something to think about, but I’m focused about what I have to do this week.”
Florida State sits at 3-5 and winning out would secure a spot in a bowl game for FSU’s 36th consecutive year.
