Florida State players, commits react to Jimbo Fisher leaving for Texas A&M

Mixed emotions as Jimbo departs for College Station.

The news of head coach Jimbo Fisher’s departure from the program came as a shock to most of the players, who learned of the coach’s departure through social media. A team meeting about an hour after the news broke confirmed that he was heading to Texas A&M, creating a somber situation as Fisher apologized to the players for them not being the first to know.
