The 2017 Florida State season has been one filled with more questions than most. How will James Blackman perform as a true freshman quarterback? Will FSU fight back to make a bowl? Will you bring your ass down here and say that to my face?
And now we’ve got more queries, but with some attendant answers. For while Fisher leaving for Texas A&M is the loss of just one coach, it’s vacated a couple of responsibilities. As I already wrote, Fisher’s head-coaching responsibilities will be assumed by veteran defensive line coach Odell Haggins, a move that has already been lauded by the Seminole faithful and well advertised by FSU itself.
And now we also know who will take over offensive playcalling duties, thanks to our friend Tim Linafelt:
A few more details for tomorrow’s game: Play-calling duties will be shared by co-offensive coordinators Randy Sanders and Lawrence Dawsey. All other coaches/staff expected to fulfill their normal responsibilities.

Sanders is certainly no surprise here, as it was far from unusual for him to call stretches of the offensive attack at FSU. Dawsey’s inclusion as a co-offenisve coordinator is a little more interesting.
