After Saturday’s game, which may have been defensive back Derwin James’ final at Doak Campbell Stadium, the talented star player is still not decided on if he will play in FSU’s bowl game. James is a projected first round draft selection my numerous media outlets which could impact his decision to leave Florida State early. James is also still undecided about declaring for the NFL draft early.

“I am still talking it over with my family and some of my teammates. I still have not gotten to a conclusion yet, but its coming soon.”

He also reflected on the whirlwind 2017 FSU season.

“It was just a rollercoaster. We went through a lot of adversity this year with injuries, hurricanes and different stuff. That’s no reason for excuses, no reason to point a finger at anyone. Being able to get through it and get this last home win to get to a bowl game was just a great feeling.”
