According to Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com, Florida State assistant coach Jay Graham has left Florida State to join Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M. Graham had been the running backs and special teams coach for FSU. Additionally, he is also no longer listed in the Seminoles’ coaching directory.
This past season was Graham’s fifth at Florida State after a coaching career that took him through Miami (OH), South Carolina, and Tennessee.
With Graham leaving before Florida State’s bowl game, the school is able to actively search for a new assistant immediately as he is no longer under contract with the university. Keep up with the latest news as Tomahawk Nation continues to track possible assistant coach replacements.
Graham is just the first of many changes to come at Florida State as other assistant coaches will not be back whether that be to follow Jimbo Fisher to Texas A&M or new head coach Willie Taggart preferring other candidates.
