Florida State football, recruiting news: Could Dalvin Cook slip out of the first round in the 2017 NFL Draft?

Football:

• Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald wrote about the possibility of Dalvin Cook falling of the first round, which he says could happen. Navarro then explains why that would be a mistake.
• The FSView breaks down the expectations for the former ‘Noles that will be hoping to hear their name called in the 2017 NFL Draft.
• Former ‘Nole Kareem Are is looking to hear his name in the later rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft. Newsday caught up with him in his hometown of Elmont and talked to him about the upcoming draft.

Recruiting:

• 2018 No. 3 overall prospect and FSU target DE Micah Parsons decommitted from Penn State late Sunday night. He is an FSU target that already has 19 offers.

Other Sports:

• Up 2-0 on the third inning, Florida State went into a rain delay with Miami who ever pulled the tarp over the field once the delay began. The game was eventually called, and subsequently cancelled. There are some debates that Miami could have done more to prevent the rain-out.
