While Florida State football may have had some names that were not called during the 2017 NFL Draft, they will still find homes signing with teams as an undrafted free agent. Last season, Javien Elliott signed as an UFA with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and saw ample playing time during the later part of the season.
In a way, its better for some of these players to go undrafted rather be drafted in the later rounds of the annual spectacle. It gives those players an opportunity to sign with who they want, and where they feel will give them the best odds to succeed, and make it into the league.
The players we are monitoring are WR’s Travis Rudolph, Bobo Wilson and Kermit Whitfield, QB Sean Maguire, FB Freddie Stevenson and OL Kareem Are.
