Florida State assistant coach Tim Brewster is in charge of the tight ends in Tallahassee— but his popularity among fans is much more closely aligned to his role as an ace recruiter for the Seminoles, and especially the way that he uses social media to promote the FSU brand.
And Brewster was back at it again on Saturday night, following the conclusion of the 2017 NFL Draft, in which the ’Noles had four players selected. Leading the way with the most players taken this year was Michigan, as the Wolverines saw 11 players come off the board. It was far from a surprising development, given the veteran nature of the U of M team in 2016.
However, all of that experience was not enough to claim an Orange Bowl victory against Florida State, as the Seminoles dispatched of Michigan by a score of 33-32 in Miami on December 30. And Brew wanted to make sure that everyone remembered that result:
Most draft picks doesn't correlate to winning....Just ask Michigan! #OrangeBowlChampions!
