Former Florida State WR Bobo Wilson will be reunited with his former QB Jameis Winston as the undrafted free agent has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to Riley Auman.
In four years at Florida State, Wilson caught a total of 133 passes for 1562 yards and eight touchdowns. Last season, the Miami, Fla. native led all FSU receivers in receiving yards before he tore his ACL in the team’s seventh game, and missed the rest of the season. In his sophomore and junior seasons, Wilson did not miss a single game due to injury.
Wilson also served as the punt returner and kick returner alongside fellow undrafted WR Kermit Whitfield.
At the NFL Combine, Wilson was measured at 5’9 189 lbs. with a 31 3/8 inch arm length and 9 3/8 inch hands. He ran a 4.57 second 40-yard dash.
Besides Winston, Wilson will also join former Seminoles teammates K Roberto Aguayo and DB Javien Elliott in Tampa.
