We now know the kickoff times for four Florida State games in the 2017 season, and they’ve got something in common: they’re gonna ruin half of your Sunday. That’s because you’ll be up late the evening before, since all four contests will be decided at night.
Already announced, of course, were the kickoff times for the season opener against Alabama in Atlanta on September 2, as well as the Seminoles’ ACC opener vs. Miami in Tallahassee on September 16, both of which will commence at 8 pm and be shown on ABC.
But two more FSU night games were announced today. The Seminoles’ Friday night game at Boston College was always going to be a primetime kickoff on ESPN, but it was formally announced as an 8 pm kickoff on Wednesday afternoon. Additionally, Florida State’s home opener, against Louisiana-Monroe on September 9, was designated as having a 7 pm start time and being covered by the ACC Network. Thus, the ’Noles will open the season with three consecutive primetime games.
