It’s that time of year again. At 1 PM EST on Tuesday, Florida State football head coach Jimbo Fisher will have a press conference signaling the beginning of FSU’s 2017 fall camp session and the end of a very long offseason.

There are only 32 days remaining between Tuesday’s press conference and the highly anticipated 2017 season opener against Alabama.

Along with the new season comes new talent. FSU signed two five-star running backs in its 2017 class, highlighted by No. 1 overall RB and No. 2 overall prospect in the country, Cam Akers. The other running back was No. 1 all-purpose back in the nation, Khalan Laborn.

Alongside the duo in the freshman class were No. 7 overall recruit DT Marvin Wilson and No. 10 overall recruit Joshua Kaindoh.

Other players will look to continue their domination on the field. Among those players is star DB Derwin James looking to make an impact in what very well could be his final year at Florida State. James missed the final 11 games of the 2017 season after suffering a torn meniscus, but is ready for camp.

Defensive end Brian Burns, entering his sophomore year, will look to improve on his 9.5 sacks he had in 2017, most in the nation among true freshman.

Andrew Miller (yours truly) will be providing live updates from the presser in the comments section below.
