As the only NFL team in either of the Carolinas, it stands to reason that the Carolina Panthers probably boast a number of fans who are also supporters of the Clemson Tigers. Those people must have felt rather conflicted on Wednesday night, during a preseason game between the Panthers and the Houston Texans.

The game included a touchdown grab by Florida State’s Kelvin Benjamin that looks remarkably similar to the iconic one he made against Clemson in 2013. That reception, of course, spurred the Seminoles’ 51-14 beatdown of the Tigers in Death Valley and sent the ’Noles on to a national title.

Anyway, it’s safe to say that Benjamin has the undivided attention of football fans throughout the Carolinas— the Houston cornerback he beat on his catch last night is Joseph Johnathan, who attended the University of South Carolina.
