After Monday’s Florida State football practice, defensive back Tarvarus McFadden was asked repeatedly if he was feeling the hype of the season opening game against Alabama. The preseason All-American responded by saying that he feels like its any other game and went on to add that he isn’t preparing any differently from any other team despite Alabama being No. 1 in the country.
McFadden went on to say that he wasn’t worried about the danger of returning punts. He was named the starting punt returner by Jimbo Fisher last week. In fact, the Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. native took reps last season behind Nyqwan Murray and Bobo Wilson in case both suffered injuries.
He also spoke about having defensive back Derwin James back on the field after the star of FSU’s defense missed the final 11 games of the 2016 season
